Carl Harrison

Carl Harrison is a qualified General counsellor.MCS(Acc.)

Accreditation N0 is CH00P022 ,The Accreditation is recogniton, of being safe ,competent and ethical to practise.This he received from The Counselling Society .

He is also BACP registered (566264) and a BACPA Member.He is also a Member The Association for Meridian Energy Therapies,as he is a qualified, Meridian Energy Therapies Practitioner,commonly known as E.F.T where the technique of tapping is used.

Carl fully qualified in the autumn of 2004 but has been working with and alongside counsellors for approx 5 years.

Carl decided to move into counselling in the late 1990's. This was due to his own-life experiences and realising that he to would be able to help others.

Carl undertook 4 years of training to achieve an advanced diploma in Counselling.

During this time he realised there was a need for a relaxed and friendly setting for clients to engage fully. This is where Carl came up with the idea of turning a room in his family's home into exactly that. This helps to move away from some of the more clinical settings associated with counselling, helping clients to feel more at ease.

Carl's easy going manner matches the relaxed atmosphere that he works in and is conveyed in his empathic and understanding style. He feels this is highly important in helping with what he can achieve with clients.

During his 4 years of training he established himself an integrative style of counselling. He is aware that each client has individual needs, and the need to use a diiferent approach to suit.
